I really like the font type in this mother's day card/poem. I like the feel of the font. It seemed to fit the mood of 'Mother's Day' itself. I would have liked to go even further with this project like making different versions of my card, but I ran out of time to complete it. I thought about putting like a bible verse on the card on the front, but I knew that I needed to have most of my text on the back where I had the letter to my Mom.

Individual Focus Project
Originally, I was going to do something different, for my project. I was originally going to do a poster on golf. It would consist of, the '5 steps to a perfect golf swing' and it would also have a picture of me with me in my 'finish' of my golf swing. But, instead I decided to do something different. Since it was a week or so away from mother's day, I felt like I should make a mother's day card for my mom. I thought my project was fairly simple, it consisted of an image that I edited to make it a little faded from the original image. I thought I could of added a little bit of my personal touch to the image. the other side is just a box with a lavender color as the fill. then the text is in a handwritten script, that I found free online. I really liked the way it looked and it seemed like a good fit for a 'mother's day' feel. This project did not take too much time, but I felt really confident about it! (:
eMAGINE
As freshman and sophomores, we were required to go to the annual eMAGINE festival. Each year, students from all over the KC metro present projects using different types of programs to create projects like a website, a logo, a video, and more. There are 6 categories, consisting of Short Film, News Package, Documentary, Music Video, PSA (Public Service Announcement), and Commercial. It was really cool to see all of the different projects that everyone did, and I also saw how I could improve on my own projects! It was also fun to see all of my friends and comment on all of the cool videos and projects. eMAGINE is so awesome!! (:
Creative TEAM Carton
Our most recent project. This project consisted of creating a toy with two purposes. So my partner and I decide we wanted to do building blocks but in the form of foam mats that you can lay out on the ground to play on. They would be memory foam so they would be safe to play on. This project did not take very long, but it was super easy to get the template started and to figure out how to successfully complete this project. We had to use our skills from the last project by creating a template for the project. It wasn't too hard because all it consisted of was a bunch of squares built into a bigger cube. This project was a lot of fun to real a toy with two purposes and it could have been completely made up!!
Team Supplement Carton
A few weeks ago, in class, we were assigned a project that consisted of making a supplement carton and design. I learned a lot more from this project. I learned a lot from using templates, to creating your own idea or supplement but it doesn't actually have to be real. The class had all kinds of cool supplements that could be used in the real world. My partner and I did our supplement based on dehydration. This supplement can get you rehydrated in less than 15 minutes. Users could do this instead of drinking water to rehydrate which takes a lot of time to be fully rehydrated. I felt like my partner and I did a good job with this supplement project and I hope it can help us in the future.
Movie Poster
This project started out by choosing 3 different movies or tv shows that you watched in your childhood. I chose Ice Age, Toy Story, and A walk to remember. All of those movies really impacted my childhood. But I ended up choosing Toy Story for my poster. I sort of used some ideas on other posters to mine, but we also had to theme this poster like a Saul Bass
poster. I incorporated all of those characteristics into my poster. I hand drew the hand, Woody, and the clouds which was a challenge, but it was beneficial.

Magazine Cover
Our magazine cover. Quite a fun project, seeing all of the other classmates and their magazine covers was awesome. Seeing what they did with their project was really cool. My magazine cover was based off of the magazine called 'Golf Digest' some of their covers inspired me to create the one for class. I used an image that was taken from a golf tournament I played in earlier that year. This project probably wasn't my best out of the projects we did this year, but I should have taken more time on the project to start with. I could have easily fixed some of the text, centered the date at the bottom, and a lot more effort into this project.
