North Korea launches new Missile
In this story, it was more of a recap of how North Korea has launched a new missile that can reach the United States in just over 30 minutes of time. In this story it includes interviews of different analysts who were taking a look at how the missiles can get to the USA. The interviews were off of the Fox News Channel so the interviews aren't placed correctly like in the rule of thirds.
Something that this reporter could have done better is maybe try to get some insight from some type of North Korean. This is a huge deal for the US, so it would be really beneficial if there was insight from both sides of the story. A side from the US but also something for the North Koreans.
I can implement this into my gameday stories by just getting an insight from both sides of the story. Not just getting an insight from this side of the story. When doing a feature story for gameday the requirements were to get at least a minimum of 3 interviews, including 2 interviews of maybe 2 key players, and then an interview of the Coach and their insights and views of the past season.

Weekly Blog
This week in class I improved on learning new things in editing videos. I really didn't get a lot of chances to edit a ton of videos last year so getting the experience was a huge part of knowing how to edit but also repetition helps a lot. I have started to edit the gymnastics clips which has really gotten me to focus and edit more during class.

Weekly Blog 11/3
Boy caught on camera filling empty candy bowl with his own candy
In this article and story, it talks about how a young boy does an act of kindness by filling his own trick or treating candy into an empty left on its own bowl at a strangers doorstep. In this story the reporter does a really good job of telling a story. From beginning, middle, and end. Also has a very good light tone to the story. Makes the viewer feel like they are seeing something that is actually good in the world.
Something that the reporter could have done well was that they could have provided a little bit more of a backstory like maybe featuring the the boy and his family life. They also could have used more interviews from other people to get a better insight and feel of the story. it would have been cool if they would have got an interview with the young boy and ask him his thoughts about why he did this for the good of others!
A few ways that I would implement this in to my own reporting would be that I would try to find as many good heartwarming stories for the viewers to be pleased. I think that another thing that I could implement is that to make sure you have enough interviews on the story to give a full view from every aspect and angle of the story.
